🧡 June is National Indigenous History Month 🧡

Ramara Fire and Rescue recognizes National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour the history, heritage, diversity, and strength of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. 🧡

This month, and every month, we recognize the enduring presence, contributions, and cultures of Indigenous Peoples across Canada, and, in particular, we acknowledge our neighbours and friends in the Chippewas of Rama First Nation.

🟠 On June 21, we also mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to celebrate the unique cultures and contributions of Indigenous communities locally and nationally.

☀️ Let us continue to learn, reflect, and move forward together in the spirit of respect, partnership, and reconciliation.
