ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW YEARS EVE TIMES SQUARE IN HARMONY SQUARE EVENT - CANCELLED

Due to the unfortunate heavy rain expected for Brantford throughout today and this evening, the City of Brantford has made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Times Square in Harmony Square event. The City of Brantford Parks and Recreation Event Planning Staff wish to thank all the volunteers, vendors and contractors for their efforts in coordinating this event.

The City would also like to acknowledge the following committed sponsors, Downtown Brantford, Brant Taxi, Lancaster Construction, Millards Chartered Professional Accountants & Mitsui High-Tec (Canada) Inc.

For those who were planning on attending the celebration tonight - we thank you for your understanding as safety is always the highest priority for outdoor events.

We sincerely hope that everyone has a safe and festive New Years Eve, celebrating with friends and family and welcoming 2019 with joy and happiness.

This is our last lunch and learn at the Brantford Welcome In. Thank you, Linda for extra special lunch for Lunch and Learn.

We are so happy to announce that we have found a home for Christmas Baskets!!

The program has been able to secure space at the Lynden Park Mall in the old Sears location!

Registration will begin Monday, Nov. 26th

We are open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Registration ends Friday, Dec. 14th.

Individuals wanting to register should enter the program through the outside Sears Customer Service Entrance at the south side of the mall. There will be no access to the program from inside the mall or through the side entrances of the old Sears.

Please be sure to bring all information necessary:
Valid ID for each member of the household must be shown, as well as proof of income and proof of address
