This Pride Month, SOAR Community Services proudly stands with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, families, friends, and communities across our region. 🌈

Pride is about visibility, dignity, safety, belonging, and the freedom to live authentically. It’s also a reminder that support, compassion, and inclusive spaces matter, not just this month, but every day of the year.

At SOAR, we are loud, proud, and here to help. ❤️ Whether someone is seeking connection, mental health support, housing assistance, employment services, crisis support, or simply a safe place to be heard, our doors remain open to everyone. Happy Pride Month from all of us at SOAR Community Services!!

The Youth Justice Family Counsellor Program supports youth in conflict with the law, helping them move forward and reduce the risk of re-offending. Family involvement is welcomed where it’s helpful, but support is always centred on the youth.

Counsellors work one-on-one with youth, and with families when they’re part of the journey, to understand what’s going on, build on strengths, and create individualized, practical supports that reflect each person’s reality.

We help youth navigate systems, connect with community resources, and access the supports they need through meaningful referrals that address the factors putting them at risk.

Legal Status: At risk and/or high risk youth who are in conflict with the law, have been sentenced and are at risk to reoffend, reside in a high needs
community, mental health and/or behavioural needs. Age Eligibility: 12-17.
