John Noble Home proudly hosted our first annual Cultural Food and Fashion Event on Friday. Staff, residents, and families came together to celebrate cultures from around the world through music, traditional foods, fashion, and engaging cultural experiences.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success through your hard work and dedication. We truly appreciate all the effort that went into creating such a memorable celebration, and we look forward to hosting another event in the future for our residents.

Residents and families enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration with Jeff Dawdy! Thank you, Jeff, for sharing your music and helping make the day so special. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, singing, and celebrating all the amazing mothers and mother figures in our home.

✨Employee Spotlight Winner ✨

Shawna was nominated by her peers for Employee Spotlight for the month of May. Shawna is a PSW at the Home. Her co-workers say she is amazing with the residents she cares for. She takes the time to get to know them and is always laughing and brining joy to every interaction. Shawna is also recognized for being a fantastic preceptor for students. She is a passionate mentor who takes the time to ensure students are thriving and gaining the skills they need.

Last night we honoured some of our volunteers at the Ontario Service Awards

Congratulations to Carol 20 years of service and to Karon for 10 years of service.

Fun Fact: There was over 1,000 years of volunteer service throughout the area at last nights event.

It was all smiles yesterday at the John Noble Home! Our Wellness Committee purchased 150 smile cookies to hand out to staff in support of our neighbours, Lansdowne Children’s Centre.🩵🩷

In spirit of this years National Volunteer Week theme “Ignite Volunteerism”, we were so honoured to recognize the passion, energy and dedication each of our volunteers bring to our Home. Sparking positive change in so many meaningful ways throughout each day. We celebrated with a dinner and years of service awards. We are beyond grateful to our dedicated volunteers!♥️
