🌳 City of Brandon – 2026 Tree Planting Reimbursement Programs
Now available for both private property and select public‑facing locations!

Brandon residents — we’re excited to announce that our Tree Planting Reimbursement Program has expanded for 2026. Whether you want to plant a tree on your own property or help green your neighbourhood by planting on approved public boulevards, this program is here to support you.

Planting trees helps:
🌱 Improve air quality
🌱 Reduce heat in neighbourhoods
🌱 Increase shade and comfort
🌱 Boost biodiversity and wildlife habitat
🌱 Strengthen our urban forest for future generations

How to Apply
Getting started is simple:

1️⃣ Apply using the online form
Forms are available at https://www.brandon.ca/home-property-environment/trees-and-gardens/city-of-brandon-2026-tree-reimbursement-programs/

2️⃣ Get approved by the City
Staff will review your planting location and tree species to ensure they meet program guidelines.

3️⃣ Pick up your one‑time voucher (up to $300)
Once approved, you’ll receive a voucher to use toward eligible tree purchases.

4️⃣ Choose your tree at one of our local greenhouse partners:
• Alternative Choice Garden Centre (34th St & Patricia Ave. | 204-727-7289)
• Livinstone Outdoor (1610 Byng Ave. | 204-578-5131)
• The Green Spot (1451 Rosser Ave E. | 204-727-5884)
