We have been very busy lately! We are now incorporated as a non-profit corporation, Westman Naturalists Inc. As a result, we have Westman Naturalists memberships now available at $10 per person. Please note that membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in outings or presentations, or to receive our newsletters.

We will be holding an event to celebrate our incorporation on May 10th at 1pm in the event room at the Riverbank Discovery Centre. This is a change from the previously advertised venue at the University. This event will be a chance to learn more about our history, organization and events. The indoor event will be followed by a short walk to explore the Discovery Centre grounds. Membership is not required to attend this event.

Westman Naturalists membership is open to everyone who is interested in nature and the environment, and who support the club objectives. The objectives are to offer nature-related educational opportunities, encourage study and protection of the natural world, collect nature-related data for statistical and educational purposes, and act as environmental stewards.

Your membership will support the activities of Westman Naturalists Inc. and allow you to have direct input into the programs and activities of the club. You will be able to serve to be a member of the board or one of our sub-committees, and vote at our first Annual General Meeting in 2026.

For more information on becoming a member, visit the form at https://forms.gle/iWBSXWKE6LuhFV158.
