It might seem small, but pet waste can have a big impact on our waterways.

When left on the ground, pet waste can introduce harmful bacteria and pollutants into rivers, lakes and downstream ecosystems.

Itโ€™s World Environment Week! ๐ŸŒ

Did you know invasive species can impact local ecosystems and waterways? ๐ŸŒฑ

Some invasive plants spread rapidly, crowding out native species and reducing biodiversity. In waterways, they can clog channels, disrupt habitats, and affect how water flows through the environment.

By learning to recognize and report invasive species, you can help protect local natural spaces and wildlife.
