What a day for Bike the Creek! 🚲🌳

Riders took to local routes, creek trails and natural spaces across Brampton and surrounding communities, enjoying the outdoors and celebrating Bike Month on two wheels!

The event was organized in partnership with Bike Brampton, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Region of Peel, City of Mississauga - Municipal Government and Town of Caledon.

Bike Month continues with more ways to get out and ride, including free Community Bike Rides happening through June and into October.

Bike the Creek is tomorrow! 🚲

Tomorrow’s ride takes cyclists through scenic creek trails, local routes and natural spaces across Brampton and surrounding communities.

With five group rides ranging from 6.5 to 68 km, residents can choose a route suited to their pace and enjoy a FREE BBQ lunch after the ride.

Getting to Bike the Creek by bus? Brampton Transit buses are equipped with bike racks, making it easier to connect your trip to the start of your route!

Persons with disabilities, caregivers, advocates, residents and community partners are invited to share feedback through an online survey.

Input will help identify priorities and inform future accessibility initiatives related to information and communications, employment, transportation, parking, transit, customer service and the design of public spaces.

The Brampton Farmers’ Market returns for the 2026 season on June 13! 🌞

Find the market on Main Street South, from Queen Street to Wellington Street, and Queen Street East, from Main Street to Chapel Street, open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Explore farm-fresh produce, sweet and savoury treats and handmade goods in the heart of downtown Brampton, rain or shine! 🍓🥕

Opening day will also feature the launch of the 2026–27 Local Authors Showcase in Garden Square, presented by Brampton Library!
