Today, in the first of several Indigenous History Month workshops and programs, the lovely Jennifer Bahinski hosted a dreamcatcher workshop!
Dreamcatchers have four beautiful parts: the hoop representing the circle of life, the feathers that ensure only good dreams slip to the dreamer, the web which catches the bad dreams, and the beads which catch dreams that were turned into wisdom.
We wish everyone wonderful dreams tonight and always.
Thank you to Jennifer for sharing this meaningful craft and knowledge with our community! Be sure to stop by on Wednesday for an elder talk with Jeff Monague or join us on Sunday, June 21 for National Indigenous People's Day.
