5 days until the final Photo Contest winner is announced! 📸🐸

Today’s Honourable Mention goes to “Frog’s Eye View” by Henry Gage. This charming photo perfectly captures a green frog looking out over the water at Hardy Lake Provincial Park in Torrance.

Henry shared the secret behind this spectacular shot:
“I travelled early in the morning to Hardy Lake Provincial Park (one of my favourite photography spots) until I found a frog along the shore. I used a technique called focus stacking to create an image that includes both the frog and the landscape in the background in focus, hoping to capture the ‘frog’s eye view’!”

We are getting closer to the grand reveal on June 5 at our Annual AGM! You are warmly invited to join us for the celebration.

Honourable Mention: “Muskoka’s Melting Mirror” by Kirsty Lind 🌅✨

7 days until the big reveal! Today’s featured Honourable Mention captures a quiet, powerful moment on Lake Muskoka in Bracebridge. In “Muskoka’s Melting Mirror,” Kirsty Lind beautifully frames an inukshuk watching over a vibrant spring sunset, perfectly mirrored in the still waters.

"This inukshuk was built in honor of my sister Allie who sadly passed in 2023," Kirsty told us. "She sat in that very spot enjoying the sunset. I took the photo as I sat with her appreciating the arrival of summer. "

We are counting down the days until we announce the winner of the Michael Foster Photography Contest at our Annual General Meeting on Friday, June 5! 📸
