Orono Park Pool has been part of the community for around 100 years, and while a lot has changed over time, how you pay is now catching up! 😎

We’ve heard your feedback and have upgraded our payment systems to better serve you, with more modern, flexible options for your visit. You can now pay with debit, Visa, Mastercard, or gift card. Cash is no longer accepted at this location.

The pool will be opening for the season soon! Join us for opening weekend on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, from noon to 4 p.m. 🗓️

The full summer season begins Friday, June 26, with daily hours right through to Labour Day, Monday, September 7.

Do you have a child currently in Grade 5?

All Grade 5 students in Durham Region are eligible for a pass that gives them access to many FUN and FREE activities, including public swimming, public skating and more. 🥽 ⛸️ 🏀

Getting the Grade 5 Action Pass is easy:
1️⃣ Visit the participating recreation centre in your community.
2️⃣ Bring proof of address, your child’s date of birth, and the Grade 5 Action Pass postcard, available at durham.ca/PhysicalActivity
3️⃣ Enjoy unlimited access to eligible activities until August of the year your child completes Grade 5.

This new programming invites local seniors to enjoy shared meals and time together as a community. From Coffee & Conversation and Lunch & Learns to hands-on cooking workshops, each gathering offers something familiar to enjoy and something new to look forward to in a comfortable, welcoming setting.

Clarington sports fields and open green spaces are not off-leash dog parks. According to Clarington's Responsible Pet Owners By-law, you must keep your dog on a leash. 🦮

If you wish to take your dog off the leash, there are three designated leash-free dog parks in Clarington:
📍 Bowmanville Leash-Free Dog Park: Located south of Highway 401 in the Bowmanville Harbour Conservation Area.
📍 Courtice Leash-Free Dog Park: Located on the east side of the South Courtice artificial turf field.
📍️ Newcastle Leash-Free Dog Park: Located behind Diane Hamre Recreation Complex at 1780 Rudell Road.
