📚🎉 What an incredible achievement! 🎉📚

One of our amazing students has read an astounding 6,017,578 words (and counting!) in our Accelerated Reader Program this school year. Not only has he reached an amazing milestone, but he has also shattered the previous school record of 2,000,000 words!

His dedication, perseverance, and love of reading have truly paid off. We are so proud of all the hard work he has put in throughout the year.

🎓✨ Can you believe our graduation ceremony was already three weeks ago? Neither can we!

As we look back, we're filled with pride for the incredible Class of 2026. This amazing group of students brought hard work, determination, laughter, and school spirit to Bowden Grandview School, and it has been a privilege to watch them grow.

📢 Lost & Found Reminder – Bowden Grandview School 📢

Our Lost & Found is overflowing with jackets, hoodies, water bottles, lunch kits, shoes, and many other items!

We encourage all students, parents, and guardians to take a few minutes to check the Lost & Found before the end of the school year. There are many unclaimed items waiting to be reunited with their owners.

All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the day on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Please remind your children to have a look through the Lost & Found as soon as possible.

🌟 Several Bowden Grandview students recently had the opportunity to attend the 2025 Climb Girls Resiliency Conference hosted by the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.

The conference brought together more than 275 young women from across Central Alberta at CrossRoads Church on May 7 for a day focused on building confidence, resilience, leadership, and personal growth.

Students participated in engaging presentations and activities designed to empower young women, encourage positive connections, and provide valuable tools for navigating challenges both in and out of school.

We are proud of the girls who represented Bowden Grandview and embraced this opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired. Thank you to the organizers for creating such a meaningful and impactful experience! 💜✨

🎓 High School Orientation Meeting 🎓

Attention Grade 9 students and parents!

There will be a High School Orientation Meeting on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 PM in the Bowden Grandview School Library.

This session will provide valuable information as students prepare for high school. Topics will include:

✔️ Off-campus opportunities
✔️ Introductory information about post-secondary options
✔️ Planning for a successful transition to high school

We encourage all Grade 9 students and their parents/guardians to attend.
