The Town of Bonnyville’s Social Media Platform is a means for residents to engage, ask questions, and discuss what’s happening within the municipality. For example, the Town will post about Council Meetings, upcoming events, what local facilities are doing and organizing, etc. Residents are encouraged to like, share, and comment on the municipality’s posts, however, comments must not become negative. Any posts that are deemed to be hateful, derogatory, abusive, inflammatory, offensive, disrespectful, or jeopardizes the privacy of others will be deleted immediately. Users may be blocked from the Town’s social media account if they continue to post negatively on the municipality’s account. The Town's page will also not accept formal complaints from residents. Any formal complaints can be directed to administration at 780-826-3496. Those interested in having their upcoming event featured on the Town's Events Calendar can DM this page or email that poster to [email protected].
