Replace Peeling Licence Plates...

We would like to share Manitoba Public Insurance's reminder to drivers to check their licence plates for peeling numbers or worn reflective coating. Damaged plates make it harder to identify vehicles, pose safety risks, and could result in a $113 fine.

Plates must be clearly visible under the Drivers and Vehicles Act. DIY fixes like nail polish or marker pens don’t meet safety standards β€” damaged plates must be replaced.

βœ… Free replacement if damage is occurring within 5 years
πŸ’² $15/pair after 5 years
πŸ“ Visit any MPI service centre or Manitoba broker for help.

Keep your plates visible. Keep our roads safe.
