The Blackfalds Days Cabaret is tomorrow night and we're so excited to be welcoming Ten02 Music!

Tomorrow, June 20, come down to the Eagle Builders Centre (Arena 1) for a FREE adult-only cabaret, and dance the night away!

Music starts at 7:00pm.
*This event is 18+ and free to attend*

About our performers!
From Red Deer, Alberta, Ten02 is a young, energetic band whose melodic vocals and rock inspired guitar create a modern take on alternative music.

"Fresh off of their third American tour with dates spanning coast to coast, Ten02 is quickly gaining traction, expanding outside of their normal Western Canadian tour stops where the group cultivated their routes for a number of years. Ten02 has shared the stage with notable Canadian acts such as Dan Davidson, Hotel Mira, The Monowhales, Scenic Route to Alaska, and many others."

How about those fireworks last night! Thank you to Magnum Fireworks for putting on a fantastic show!

The fun doesn't stop there; we have a fantastic day planned, starting with Council's Pancake Breakfast this morning at 7:30am - 10am at the Community Centre.
Breakfast is by donation to the Optimist Club of Blackfalds. Donations also will be accepted on site for the Blackfalds Food Bank Society Beyond Food Community Hub!

Grab some breakfast before heading down to the Community Parade starting at 11am (rain or shine - bring your umbrellas! ☔)

Who's ready for fireworks!

Magnum Fireworks is on site getting ready for the 21st anniversary of the Blackfalds Days Firework Show tonight (June 19)!

🎆 Fireworks begin at dusk (approx. 11pm)
🎇 Best viewed at Sterling Industries Sports Park!

Please note that the Bark Park will be closed during the show.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets for the 2026 Chairs for Charity already!
If you haven't had a chance to, don't worry! The last day to purchase tickets is June 30.

We will also have a tent at the Little of This Market on June 20 at the Eagle Builders Centre where you can come and purchase tickets, and see a few of the submitted chairs in person!

Tickets are $5 each (cash only). Put which businesses chair you'd like to win on the raffle ticket and you'll be entered into a draw for that specific chair!
100% of the proceeds will be going to the Anam Rural Youth Association.

🌧️Blackfalds Days Weekend | Weather Watch 🌧️

We know the weather forecast is making some people nervous for Blackfalds Days!
Rest assured that Blackfalds Days is moving forward, and organizers are watching the forecast closely.

The Parallax Energy Firework Show on Friday night and Community Parade on Saturday will move ahead unless there is significant downpour or severe weather. Organizers will have the game-time decision but unless otherwise officially communicated on our socials, website, or Blackfalds Connect, both events will continue! Bring your umbrellas and rain ponchos just in case, we won't let a little rain ruin the festivities.

We will keep our fingers crossed that the rain holds off. We can’t wait to see you this weekend!

Blackfalds Town Council has given First Reading to Bylaw No. 1358.26 being a Bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw; the purpose of this Bylaw is to:
Redistrict a portion of SW 34-39-27-W4M in the Aspen Lakes West Community from Urban Reserve District (UR) to Residential Single Dwelling Medium Lot District (R-1M) and Residential Multi-Dwelling District (R-2), as shown in the sketch.

Town Council will hold a Public Hearing in Council Chambers for the purpose of receiving comments on:
