The 2026 Chairs for Charity businesses, organizations, and artists joined together today for a group photo.

While not everyone was able to attend, we thank all the participants this year for the incredible efforts they have put into their chairs - they are all amazing!

You can find the close up photos of the chairs completed so far at www.blackfalds.ca/chairs-for-charity. Once all chairs photos have been submitted, we will share them all together!

Tickets will be going on sale starting June 10 at all participating businesses!

Did you know the Blackfalds Agriculture Society sponsors the Jim Hurley Free Skate! While you are attending with your family please help us help the Christmas Bureau by making a food donation for the Christmas hamper program. A food bank donation box is set up at the arena until December 2nd!

Calling car, truck, and motorcycle enthusiasts!
In partnership with Red Deer Cruise Night, we will be hosting a Show & Shine on September 13 at Sterling Industries Sports Park.

Registration is in person, and the entry fee (to spectate and/or participate) is by donation to Can Praxis, an organization that supports veterans, first responders and their families.

AUGUST 16 & 17 | During Open Farm Days on Aug. 16 and 17, host farms will open their gates to tours, and participants can buy Alberta-grown and produced products. Many hosts also organize culinary experiences featuring some of the finest chefs in rural Alberta. These farm-to-table experiences are a unique way to enjoy fresh, homegrown dishes while supporting the livelihoods of local ag operators.
