Yesterday, the Little Valley Playschool paid tribute to Carol Tomyn. She has been the Little Valley Playschool teacher for 22 years. She is moving south to be closer to her family, and she had her last day as our Playschool teacher on June 11. She taught many kids over the years and we appreciate your patience, kindness and nurturing nature. Thank you Carol. All the best in your future.

The Village of Bjorkdale was just approved for $10,000 for the Bjorkdale after school program from the Community Initiatives Fund. The Community Initiative Fund provides funding for healthy growth and development of children and youth, and individual and community wellbeing. The approved funds directly support: Friday Fun skate, kids in the kitchen, Easter Pysanky egg decorating, arts and craft programming, sewing classes, and other afterschool programming. The Village of Bjorkdale has rescinded the fire ban as of 7:15am wed. June 3.
