The Binscarth & District Gordon Orr Memorial Museum is the result of one man's dream and dedication. Gordon Orr had a love for artifacts and antiques, which he collected throughout his life. In 1983, the building formerly used as the lumber yard was purchased to start a museum. Since that time, expansions have been made to create over double the space so the Museum can house the hundreds of artifa

Tickets are also available for purchase at the museum July,2-4 th and at the museum lunch at the hall on July 4 th. $5 a ticket. The museum will be open July 2/3 from 1-7 for homecoming. We r wondering if anyone from the community or coming to homecoming is interested in a 3 hour shift. Shifts r 1-4 and 4-7. July 4 is mainly covered. Message me or reply here. Thx in advance. Robin

Watch for updates on a museum raffle starting soon in conjunction with home coming 2026. Items for the raffle include a lap quilt featuring pictures of Binscarth with a Canadian theme , a crocheted afghan , and an outdoor lawn game . Tickets will be available early June and the draw will be made at noon , Sunday, July 5 th at the museum.

The museum will have tickets available for a museum raffle in early June to coincide with homecoming. Proceeds to the museum. To date we have a Canadian lap top quilt sewn by museum members, with Binscarth photos, an Afghan donated by Toon Cozens and 2 more items to be confirmed. Once the raffle is finalized, tickets will be available from museum members, and placed around town with the draw happening on Sunday, July 5 th at the museum at noon. The raffle will be done online . More details to follow re ticket prizes and pics of items.
