Kidz Klub starts today!

🍂 Fall programs are starting soon — and there’s something for every age! 🍂

Looking for ways for your kids to make friends, build confidence, learn new skills and have fun? Or maybe you’re a parent or caregiver looking for a welcoming place to connect with other families? Community Services/FCSS has you covered this fall! 💙

👩‍🍳 LITTLE CHEFS – Grades 1 & 2
A little cooking, a little crafting and LOTS of fun! Kids will get hands-on in the kitchen, explore their creativity, learn practical life skills and make new friends along the way.
📅 Oct. 5, 19, 26 & Nov. 2, 16, 23
⏰ 3:30–5:30 PM
💲 $15 | Only 10 spots available

Monday afternoons are for connecting, creating and hanging out! Kidz Klub gives youth a safe, welcoming place to build friendships, try life-skill activities, learn something new and simply have fun together.

🧸 STAY & PLAY – Ages 0–6 + Parents/Caregivers
Come as you are and join us Friday mornings! Stay & Play is a relaxed, welcoming place for little ones to play and grow while parents and caregivers connect, share, learn about developmental milestones and discover community resources and supports.

♻️ HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE ROUNDUP – BENTLEY ♻️

Doing a little garage, basement or shed clean-out? Now’s a great time to safely get rid of those items you’ve been hanging onto because you weren’t sure what to do with them!

📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 1:00–4:00 PM
📍 Bentley Waste Transfer Station

Bring along your unwanted household hazardous waste for safe disposal. Accepted items include things like:

🎨 Paint & paint products
🧴 Household cleaners & chemicals
🚗 Used oil and automotive fluids
🔋 Household batteries
💡 Fluorescent bulbs & tubes
🔥 Small household propane tanks
💻 Electronics
🌿 Household herbicides & pesticides
…and more!

A few things to remember: Items must be residential household products — commercial and agricultural products will not be accepted. Most hazardous products should be in their original containers.

✨ Clear out the clutter and dispose of these items safely and responsibly!

♻️ BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO RECYCLING IN BENTLEY! ♻️

Starting October 13, 2026, Town of Bentley residents will have access to new curbside recycling collection services through Circular Materials.

The expanded recycling program means more materials can be kept out of the landfill and recycled, including:

♻️ Paper, cardboard & cartons
♻️ Plastic containers & packaging
♻️ Flexible plastic packaging
♻️ Foam packaging
♻️ Metal containers & aluminum
♻️ Glass bottles & jars

New recycling bins will be delivered to residents before the program begins. Watch the Town of Bentley page and website for information on bin delivery dates and additional program details.

Good Neighbor Day is all about community connections — meeting neighbours, catching up with friends, discovering the amazing organizations in our area, and simply enjoying some time together.

There will be something for everyone!

🚒 Touch-a-Vehicle – check out vehicles from the Town, Lacombe County, Bentley Fire Department & more!

🎶 Live music with Blast From The Past

🏴‍☠️ Kids Zone – pirate activities and a giant 22-ft bouncy pirate ship!

🤝 Community organizations & information tables – come see who is helping make Bentley such a great place to call home.

🎟️ Community Connections Bingo – complete your bingo card and enter for some great random-draw prizes!

🍔 FREE FOOD! Hamburgers, hot dogs, cookies, popcorn, cake & more!

And the most important part of Good Neighbor Day… YOU! 💛
