Gleaners Tri-County Warehouse serves multiple area food banks, meal programs & non-profit agencies. Gleaners Food Bank is a Non-Profit Registered Charity which provides food for families and individuals in need. Gleaners Food Bank Aims to provide food hampers that directly reflect the Canadian Food Guides standards for eating healthy. Gleaners Food Bank hosts a variety of fundraisers each year to

support the food bank’s operational needs. The events include: Empty Bowls, Shamrocks on the Wall, and our Mega Dollar Sale. Due to Covid-19 these events have been cancelled for the past two years. You have many ways to donate to Gleaners Food Bank, you can donate online @ www.gleanersfoodbank.ca or call 613 962-9043 for further options. Gleaners Food Bank is a member of Feed Ontario and Food Bank’s Canada. Throughout the year they hold seasonal fundraising campaigns for the public to donate, for example: Grocery store drives with Food Basics, Freshco, Foxboro Foodland, Metro and Loblaw’s locally at McDowell’s Independent & Marc’s No-Frills. We are currently working on a New Online and Facebook Auction and Live Music Events.

Big things are happening at Gleaners Food Bank!

Today was an exciting day as our team rolled up their sleeves and literally started tearing down walls in preparation for a brand-new chapter. As part of our move to a shopping model, one of the walls came down today, making way for a space that will completely transform how we serve our community.

This change is about so much more than a renovation. It's about dignity. Beginning July 2, individuals and families who visit the food bank will be able to shop and choose the foods that best meet their needs, preferences, and dietary requirements, just like they would in a grocery store.

We believe this new approach will create a more welcoming, empowering, and respectful experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

There is still lots of work ahead, but today was a huge milestone and a reminder that exciting things are on the horizon.

July 2 can't come soon enough. We are ready to welcome our community to a new and improved Gleaners Food Bank!

Happening today from 10 AM- 4 PM in the parking lot (behind Denny's)

Bring your old electronics and a non-perishable food item to our Drive-Thru drop off location. Receive a 10% off coupon for The Branch by Connon Nurseries, located in the Quinte Mall parking lot this summer (while supplies last).

Proceeds will be donated to Belleville and food will be donated to Grace Inn.
