Gleaners Tri-County Warehouse serves multiple area food banks, meal programs & non-profit agencies. Gleaners Food Bank is a Non-Profit Registered Charity which provides food for families and individuals in need. Gleaners Food Bank Aims to provide food hampers that directly reflect the Canadian Food Guides standards for eating healthy. Gleaners Food Bank hosts a variety of fundraisers each year to

support the food bank’s operational needs. The events include: Empty Bowls, Shamrocks on the Wall, and our Mega Dollar Sale. Due to Covid-19 these events have been cancelled for the past two years. You have many ways to donate to Gleaners Food Bank, you can donate online @ www.gleanersfoodbank.ca or call 613 962-9043 for further options. Gleaners Food Bank is a member of Feed Ontario and Food Bank’s Canada. Throughout the year they hold seasonal fundraising campaigns for the public to donate, for example: Grocery store drives with Food Basics, Freshco, Foxboro Foodland, Metro and Loblaw’s locally at McDowell’s Independent & Marc’s No-Frills. We are currently working on a New Online and Facebook Auction and Live Music Events.

We were thrilled to be part of the United Way Hastings & Prince Edward Day of Caring this week and incredibly grateful to welcome an amazing team from McKesson to Gleaners Food Bank Quinte.

The group rolled up their sleeves and spent the day painting as we continue preparing for the launch of our new shopping model—an exciting step forward that will provide a more dignified and empowering experience for the individuals and families we serve.

Projects like this simply wouldn't be possible without the support of community-minded organizations and volunteers who are willing to give their time and talents to make a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the McKesson team and to United Way for bringing people together to create meaningful impact in our community. Your support helps us build a stronger, more welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors.

Thank you!

We couldn’t be happier to continue supporting our local Gleaners Belleville with another donation.💛

Giving back in a meaningful way to our community is something we truly value, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping those in need. We remain committed to collecting non-perishable donations in our office foyer and will continue to drop them off once the bin is full.

It's exciting to start seeing our new Gleaners branding and signage appearing throughout the community!

Our new look reflects who we are today while staying true to the mission that has guided us from the beginning, helping ensure everyone has access to healthy food with dignity.

Thank you to our volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who make this work possible every day. We're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're headed.

The logo may be new, but our commitment to the community remains as strong as ever.

Kyle is representing Gleaners Food Bank Quinte this week at the Feed Ontario Conference in Thunder Bay, connecting with food bank leaders, partners, and organizations from across the province. The conference is focused on sharing ideas, building relationships, and exploring innovative ways to strengthen food security and better serve our communities. We're proud to have Kyle there learning, collaborating, and bringing back new ideas that will help us continue making an impact here at home.

What a proud moment for our community!

This week, Jodie Jenkins appeared live on TSN at the RBC Canadian Open to talk about Endless Summer, the World's Biggest Long Drive Championship coming to Belleville June 25-26.

One of the best parts? Hearing Gleaners Food Bank Quinte recognized on national television as a charitable partner of the event.

A portion of every ticket sold supports our food bank, helping us continue to serve local individuals and families in need.

And if you've never been to Endless Summer, you don't need to be a golfer to enjoy it. Think big crowds, incredible entertainment, music, food, and the chance to watch some of the world's longest hitters launch drives over 400 yards under the lights!
