We share an important message from the Council of CLO...

As the labour action continues across Ontario's developmental service sector, the Council of CLO recognizes the right of workers to advocate for fair wages. At the same time, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to feel safe, respected, and at peace where they live.

People's homes are homes first. The Council of CLO asks that the privacy, dignity, and safety of people be respected and that there will not be picketing at our homes.

The Council of Community Living Ontario (Council of CLO), is a leadership and advocacy group made up of self-advocates from across the province, with lived experience of intellectual or developmental disabilities.
