Larry Milberry

This grand Canadian aviation book gives detailed coverage to the Royal Canadian Air Force, both at home and overseas, in World War II. This work is such a rich source of information, facts, anecdotes, and images that the most avid aviation buffs can gorge themselves on its 480 pages. A comprehensive account of the RCAF's growth from a puny complement of 4000 in 1939 to its 1945 war-end strength of 250,000—the fourth-largest Allied Air Force.

This astonishing collection of 1500 photographs, most of which have never before been published makes this book a real treasure!

The Canadair Sabre
Larry Milberry

This is the most detailed book ever about the famous F-86 Sabre. Designed by North American Aviation in California, the Sabre is the classic jet fighter of all time, the plane that made history by taking control of the skies over Korea and drubbing the MIG-15. Chosen by the RCAF to fulfill its day-fighter needs, most of the natty little Canadian Sabres would be stationed in Europe with the No.1 Air Division. For over a decade they ruled the skies and brought fame to Canadian pilots.
This great book contains the largest number of Sabre photos ever published in one book. As well, there are drawings, a full production list, various specs and statistics, and even drinking songs, poems and cartoons. This book will surely bring waves of nostalgia to anyone who was involved with air force life in the 1950s and will delight anyone with an interest in some of the most exciting years in military aviation.

From Sea Unto Sea Art & Discovery Maps of Canada
Joe C W Armstrong

This remarkable volume brings together, for the first time, thirty-eight extraordinary original Canadian maps—many of them considered national treasures—along with the fascinating stories of the explorers and cartographers who created them. From Gastaldi’s 1556 woodcut map, where sea monsters lurk in uncharted waters, to Champlain’s richly detailed 1612 depiction of Canada’s abundance, and Sanson’s groundbreaking 1656 map, the first to show all five Great Lakes, each chart reveals a unique chapter in the nation’s history. More than an atlas, this beautifully illustrated collection invites modern readers on a voyage of rediscovery, exploring the courage, artistry, and humanity that shaped Canada’s earliest beginnings. A captivating journey into the country’s past.
A MUST HAVE for any Canadian Historian!

The History and Techniques of the Great Masters DEGAS
Linda Bolton

This book is highly regarded for bridging the gap between art history and technical ex*****on. Bolton explores Degas's deep respect for line work and traditional drawing techniques. Influenced by masters, Degas relied heavily on precise draftsmanship before layering color. Even though Degas exhibited alongside the Impressionists, the book highlights his preference for being called a "Realist."

Winslow Homer Watercolours
Donelson F Hoopes

The book was published in cooperation with The Brooklyn Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, encompassing virtually the entire Homer watercolor collection from both institutions.
