2026 Village of Belle Plaine Tax Notice
Taxes for 2026 have been levied and sent out. Some of you will receive them via email, others regular mail. If it's not in your inbox please check your junk/spam folder. To take advantage of the 10% discount, payment must be recieved in to the office no later then August 31st. Taxes are due in full by December 31st 2026.

Loraas bins are on their way to the Community Hall parking lot. To avoid injury and additional costs, please start filling the bins from the back and work your way forward.

Much of Saskatchewan is currently under an extreme fire conditions. Dry conditions and wind can cause fires to spread rapidly in a very short amount of time.

Please use increased caution when:
• Operating machinery or equipment
• Burning brush or having campfires
• Discarding ci******es
• Driving or parking in tall dry grass

One small spark can quickly become a major wildfire. Help protect our community, farms, homes, and emergency responders by staying alert and following all local fire restrictions.

If you see smoke or fire, report it immediately.

Reminder
🌱 Spring Clean-Up Weekend!
Join us this weekend of May 30th for our community clean-up!

📍 Location: Hall parking lot
🗑️ Bins: 3 Loraas bins will be available
🔩 A separate metal bin will also be on site

Please ensure all items fit completely inside the bins—overfilling can cause costly delays.

🚫 Not Accepted Items:
Propane tanks, batteries of any kind, paint (spray or can), concrete, shingles, dirt and gravel, hazardous materials, tires, box springs or mattresses, oil or chemicals, creosote-treated wood or any kind.

Thank you for your patience Prospect St and Assiniboia ave intersection is reopened

Update: Curb stop replacement on Assiniboia Ave and Prospect St has been suspended until Tuesday. Excavation holes remain in place, so please continue to use caution around the area and stay clear of construction zones for your safety.
