Village of Belle Plaine

The Village of Belle Plaine is currently seeking a qualified snow removal operator to work from November to April, subject to weather conditions. Responsibilities will include snow removal from streets and alleyways, snow relocation to reduce accumulation, culvert maintenance, and pump operation as needed, along with other duties as assigned by the administrator. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined and experienced in operating heavy equipment. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their resume to [email protected] by October 13, 2026

💰 10% Early Payment Discount
To take advantage of the 10% discount, payment must be received at the Village Office no later than August 31, 2026.

📅 Final Tax Payment Deadline
All 2026 property taxes are due in full by December 31, 2026. Any unpaid balance after this date will be subject to the applicable penalty.

If paying by e-transfer or another method that requires bank processing, please allow sufficient time for the payment to be received by the Village Office before the deadline.

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful neighbors at the Belle Plaine Hutterite Colony, who are donating some of their surplus potatoes, community members are invited to stop by and take what they need.

📍 North side of the Community Hall

Please bring your own container and fill it with however many potatoes your household can use.
