Information for Evacuees
Saskatchewan Evacuation Registration (SER)

If you are the head of household, please complete the following steps on the Saskatchewan Evacuation Registration (SER) web portal at : https://app.saskecs.ca/

Part 1: Create or update your account
• Follow the instructions within SER. Part 1 can be done at any time; an evacuation does not have to be declared. Completing an account in SER now can help save time during an evacuation.
• Your household includes anybody who lives in your home, including anyone for whom you are a primary caregiver. You can update your information at any time if your family situation changes.
• Information is kept confidential.

Part 2: IF an evacuation is declared, you will need to access the web portal and select your community and review the household information in your account.
• Once a community has officially declared an evacuation and requested the SPSA’s ECS unit’s help, the name of the community will appear on SER.
• Log in to your account, select your community, and confirm your information to complete your registration.

If you need assistance with your registration, please call 1-855-559-5502 and someone will be able to assist you with your registration question

Much of the province is experiencing a heatwave and hot, humid weather can affect your health. Here’s how to stay safe:

🪭 Stay cool: Use air conditioning, fans or spend time in shaded or cooler places.
🥤 Drink water often: In extreme heat, aim for 3–4 litres of water each day, and more if you’re sweating. Sip water throughout the day; don’t wait until you feel thirsty.
🚫 Limit caffeine and alcohol, as they can lead to dehydration.
🩳 Dress for the weather: Wear loose, lightweight, light-coloured clothing.
🏠 Spend less time outside, especially during peak afternoon heat.
⚠️ Never leave children or pets in a vehicle; it can become life-threatening within minutes.
🔍 Watch for signs of heat illness: Dizziness, nausea, confusion or a pounding headache.

Take care of yourself and check in on others, especially those who may need extra support.

Much of the province is under a heatwave, with strong winds and extreme fire danger levels. Fires can start easily and spread fast in these conditions.

🚫 This is your reminder not to burn during windy or dry conditions. A small spark can travel long distances and ignite dry grass or brush within seconds.

🔥 Conditions can change quickly, even if things seem safe. Always check the weather and local fire restrictions before starting a fire.

Let’s enjoy the outdoors responsibly.
