The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, NL Health Services CBN Family Care Team, and SeniorsNL are partnering to host a Café of Memories event for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.

Join us for an afternoon of live entertainment, activities, socializing, and a complimentary lunch generously provided by Subway.

After 50 years in business, Bay Roberts Distributors Ltd. will be closing its doors for the final time.

Town Council extends its sincere appreciation to the owners, employees, and customers who helped make Bay Roberts Distributors a long-standing and respected part of our community. For five decades, the business served customers throughout the region while contributing to the local economy and building countless relationships along the way.

Reaching 50 years in business is a remarkable milestone and a reflection of hard work, dedication, and the support of generations of customers.

As this chapter comes to a close, we thank everyone who played a role in the company's success and wish them all the very best in the future.

Mayor Geoff Seymour and Councillor Perry Bowering were proud to attend a ceremony in the Town of Torbay recognizing the remarkable legacy of Ward Gosse through the official renaming of the road leading to the Jack Byrne Arena as Ward Gosse Drive.

A native of Bay Roberts, Ward was a respected athlete, teammate, mentor, friend, and community leader whose impact was felt throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. His dedication to his community and the countless lives he touched left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

The Town of Bay Roberts extends its sincere appreciation to the Town of Torbay for commemorating Ward's contributions in such a meaningful way. It was an honour to join Ward's family, friends, former teammates, and community members in recognizing a legacy that continues to inspire others.

The Town of Bay Roberts is proud to have received the First Place Osmond Award from the Lifesaving Society - Newfoundland & Labrador, recognizing the seasonal affiliate with the largest lifesaving program in the province.

This achievement reflects the strong participation and commitment of our community in lifesaving education, first aid, leadership development, aquatic certification, and safety training programs.

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated instructors, staff, participants, and families whose support continues to make these programs a success. Together, we are helping to develop valuable skills, build confidence, and strengthen community safety.

The Pride flag was raised at Town Hall to mark the beginning of Pride Month.
