🏆 2026 Town of Bay Roberts Athletic Awards – Nominations now open!

Bay Roberts has a proud and longstanding sports history, built by the athletes, teams, volunteers and community builders who have contributed to sport in our community.

The Town of Bay Roberts Athletic Awards Program recognizes both recent achievements and lasting contributions to sport, and nominations are now open in two categories:

🏅 Athlete / Team / Sports Volunteer Awards
Recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of individual athletes, teams and sports volunteers over the past year.

🏆 Sports Hall of Fame / Builder Award

Sports Hall of Fame: Recognizes individual athletes or teams whose past achievements and contributions have made a significant impact on sport in Bay Roberts.

“Kevin and Langdon Critch” Builder Award: Recognizes an individual or individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development and growth of sport within our community over the years.

Employment Opportunity: Operator/Maintenance Position Temporary Full-time (Seasonal)

The Town of Bay Roberts is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Full-Time (Seasonal) Operator/Maintenance position at the Bay Arena.

Under the direction of the Manager of Stadium Operations and Events, the successful applicant will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Bay Arena, including the ice surface, facility systems and related equipment.

The position involves ice and facility maintenance, operation of related equipment, general building maintenance, public supervision, and other duties associated with the day-to-day operation of the Bay Arena. Shift work is required, including evenings and weekends.

Application Deadline: Monday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m.
