June 5th is World Environment Day! πŸŒΏπŸ’šπŸ’™

Today is a reminder that the health of our communities is closely connected to the health of the environment around us. From wetlands and forests to coastlines and rivers, the natural spaces we depend on provide clean air and water, support wildlife, reduce flooding, store carbon, and contribute to our overall well-being. 🌎

At SAM, we are proud to work with municipalities, partners, and communities across NL to conserve and steward important wildlife habitat. Every restored wetland, protected shoreline, and conservation area helps build a healthier, more resilient future for both people and nature. πŸ’ͺ🏻🌊

This World Environment Day, take a moment to appreciate the natural places that make your community special - and consider what small actions you can take to help protect them for generations to come! 🌱
