Fire Restriction DOWNGRADED to Fire Advisory.
The Fire Restriction for Camrose County has been DOWNGRADED to a Fire Advisory effective 1200 hours on June 04, 2026.
Reminder, it is always essential to use caution with conducting any open burning.
Existing fire permits remain valid (subject to suspension or cancellation).
New fire permits will continue to be issued and Fireworks permits are available for application through Camrose County's website: https://bit.ly/4emCcTf
The following are PERMITTED during this Fire Advisory:
- Burning barrels equipped with a metal mesh screen
- Safe wood campfires in approved fire pits on private lands and in
campgrounds
- Portable Fire Pits and Patio Heaters fueled by natural gas or propane
- Cooking Appliances (Barbeques, Coleman Stoves) which are fueled by
liquid propane or natural gas, including Charcoal (Briquette)
- Pellet Style Electric Smokers
- Catalytic or Infrared style heaters
Off-Highway Vehicles can start wildfires - check frequently to ensure hotspots are
free of debris, and make sure mufflers and spark arrestors are working properly.
Never leave any fire unattended. Soak it, stir it and soak it again until cool to the
touch to ensure it is extinguished.
The FIRE ADVISORY will remain in effect until further notice.
