Join us tomorrow in honour of National Indigenous History Month with a presentation from Elder Aimee Bailey from The Circle of Turtle Lodge. We will learn the Anishnabe Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers and make decorative glass marbles to take home.

No registration required, but space is limited. This program is ideal for ages 10 and up. Younger are welcome with an adult.

Yesterday, we celebrated Penny’s 45 years of service to the library and community. She will be greatly missed for her reading recommendations, local history knowledge, dedication to patrons, friendly service and more. Best wishes, Penny, on your retirement!

Unfortunately, we are cancelling the Astronomy in Action event due to low ticket sales.

Drop by the library on Saturday to learn more and make glass marbles to remember the seven teachings.

This event is for youth and adults.

Join us Saturday, June 6 at 11am to learn about the Anishnabe Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers and create a glass marble craft.

Our kids' garden club is starting up again. The first session is Friday, June 5!

Children are welcome to attend the session date that suits; children do not need to attend all sessions. **Please register for the session they will attend well in advance so we have enough supplies. **
Space is limited to 8 children per session so each child is able to participate in gardening.
