During Lobster Festival, families, friends, and explorers of all ages set out across the Lobster Capital of Canada to crack clues, solve riddles, discover local landmarks, and test their lobster knowledge through the Lobster Capital Quest and Lucy's Trivia Trail.

We were thrilled to see so many participants take part, submit answers, and share photos from their adventures!

A huge thank you to everyone who downloaded a quest sheet, hit the trails, explored our communities, and embraced the spirit of Lobster Festival. These activities were designed to encourage people to get outside, discover new places, learn a little more about our lobster heritage, and make some memories along the way, and you did just that!

We're excited to share some of the wonderful photos submitted throughout the week. Thank you to everyone who shared their adventures with us!

And now for the moment you've been waiting for...

Happy National Lobster Day! 🦞

In the Lobster Capital of Canada, lobster is more than just a meal here, it's a way of life.

We're proud of the generations of fishing families who have built their livelihoods on the sea and helped shape the culture, traditions, and economy of our region.

Whether you're enjoying a fresh lobster dinner, cracking into a lobster roll, or simply taking in the sights and stories of our working waterfronts, today is the perfect day to celebrate one of Atlantic Canada's most iconic treasures.

How are you celebrating National Lobster Day? Share your favourite lobster photo or memory in the comments!

As we wrap up Lobster Festival, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year's celebration such a success.

To our volunteers, sponsors, community partners, performers, vendors, fishers, participants, and attendees, thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit to every event throughout the week.

From puzzle challenges and workshops to the Lobster Fest Market, Beat the Tide Tinkers Run, live music, and the fan-favourite Great Lobsterman Challenge, it was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate our lobster heritage and the incredible communities that make the Lobster Capital of Canada so special.

A special thank you goes out to all of our event organizers, community groups, businesses, and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to bring these events to life. Festivals like this are truly a community effort, and we couldn't do it without you.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, cheered, competed, shopped, explored, and SHELL'ebrated with us. Seeing families make memories, visitors discover our region, and our community come together is what Lobster Festival is all about.

Please enjoy some of our favourite moments from this year's festival in the photo gallery below.

Here's to 40 years of lobster, laughter, community, and coastal tradition. SEA you next year!! πŸ¦žπŸŽ‰

Unfortunately, due to the forecast for rain early tomorrow morning, we have made the decision to cancel Beach Yoga.

While a little rain can be refreshing, it's not quite the beach yoga experience we had hoped for!
