Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions Children’s aid society & mental health provider focused on safety & wellbeing of children & families. We work with professional translators for other languages.

On April 1, 2015, Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions was launched as a new integrated child and family services agency. It is the amalgamated organization of the Simcoe Children’s Aid Society and Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka. We are committed to being helpful, respectful, attentive, and caring for children, youth and families and to working collaboratively to build safe and strong com

munity where children, youth and families thrive. Our services include child protection, family support, family creation through adoption, kinship, customary care and foster care, and in our Muskoka branches, we offer children’s mental health services. All of our service are delivered through a respectful, culturally sensitive practice and are available in English and French. All children have the right to grow up in an environment where they are loved, nurtured and cherished. As a community, we share a responsibility to ensure that our children are in supportive environments. We would like to thank PIE Education and Alex Nuttall once again for their generous donations of backpacks and school supplies. They continue to support our agency each year.

Once more, they were again able to distribute thousands of backpacks to several organizations, including hundreds for the families we serve.

Steps for Safety is back for a second year and the event is almost there! We're excited and very thankful to all our participants, donors, volunteers and sponsors so far.

If you haven’t joined yet, we hope you will soon so that we can make a bigger impact in the fight against human trafficking targeting children, youth, and families in our community.

We want to give a HUGE thank you to the teams signed up for our Steps for Safety event! Our ability to support local victims of human trafficking and put an end to this issue is thanks to the support of our community. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’re still far away from our goal and we need all of YOU to help us make a difference in the community. Join us to walk and have fun with us, all while providing hope, safety, and freedom for the most vulnerable in the community. Use the link in our bio to register, volunteer, and donate.

La Marche pour la Sécurité est de retour pour une deuxième année et l'événement est presque là! Nous sommes excités et très reconnaissants envers tous nos participants, donateurs, bénévoles et parrains jusqu'à présent.

Si vous n'êtes pas encore inscrit, nous espérons que vous le serez bientôt afin que nous puissions avoir un impact plus important dans la lutte contre la traite des êtres humains ciblant les enfants, les jeunes et les familles de notre communauté.

A huge thank you to Mike, his team, and all of their patients at Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic for their generous financial and in-kind donations of school supplies. This is the second year in the row that they have a successful fundraising drive in support of our back-to-school program and we couldn't be more grateful!

This donation will help many children and youth to receive the supplies they need when starting school this year and give them a sense of belonging.

We are very thankful to businesses like them who organize collection drives based on items we need the most. Those collection drives are a great way to encourage team building and giving back to the community.

Un grand merci à Mike, son équipe et leurs patients à Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic pour leur généreux dons d'argent et de fournitures scolaires. C'est la deuxième année qu'ils ont une collecte de fonds réussie pour soutenir notre programme de retour à l'école et nous sommes très reconnaissants!

Ce don permettra à de nombreux enfants et jeunes de recevoir les fournitures dont ils ont besoin pour la rentrée scolaire cette année et leur donnera un sentiment d'appartenance.

A huge thank you to Sharp Bus Lines & Sarah Gvora for organizing and collecting school supplies in Orillia last weekend!

Those supplies will be put in backpacks and distributed through our Back-to-school program to hundreds of children we work with. Those backpacks filled with school supplies give every child a sense of belonging, and what they need to start school successfully.

Un grand merci à Sharp Bus Lines & Sarah Gvora pour avoir organisé et collecté des fournitures scholaires à Orillia le fin de semaine passée.

Ces fournitures seront mises dans des sa-à-dps et seront distribuées par l'intermédiaire de notre programme de retour à l'école à des centaines d'enfants avec lesquels nous travaillons. Ces sac-à-dos sont remplis de fournitures et donnent à chaque enfant un sentiment d'appartenance, et ce dont ils/elles ont besoin pour réussir quand l'école démarre.
