Today, we recognize Juneteenth.

A day to reflect on freedom, dignity, equity, and the ongoing work of building stronger communities.

At The Busby Centre, we believe Everybody is Somebody. We work from a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk, while helping create the shortest path from homelessness to housing.

Today, we honour the importance of dignity, belonging, and meaningful change.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

The Busby Centre is currently in need of essential hygiene and personal care items to support individuals in our community.

We are gratefully accepting donations of:

- Razors.
- Shampoo.
- Conditioner.
- Body wash.
- Toothbrushes.
- New underwear in all sizes for men and women.
- New socks.

These everyday items make a meaningful difference for individuals accessing support through our centre. If you are able to donate, your generosity is truly appreciated.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND AT THE BARRIE AIRSHOW.

We had a wonderful time being out in the community this weekend at the Barrie Airshow.

Thank you to our incredible community members, our dedicated staff, and our amazing volunteers for helping make it such a meaningful weekend.

Opportunities like this matter. They give us the chance to connect with people, share more about the work we do, and continue spreading the word about how The Busby Centre supports individuals experiencing homelessness across our community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, asked questions, made a donation, or took the time to learn more.
