Thank you everyone who came to 'The Librarians' last Thursday! It was incredible to see the community support this very important documentary, learn, and ask questions before and after. It was an eye-opening documentary, and has reinforced how important the freedom to read is.

A very special thank you to the for hosting, Alexandra from the for helping promote and organize, and our Library Board members for advocating, answering questions, and supporting the showing. This event was such a success because of so many!

If you want to learn how you can support the Library, you can check out our Friends of the Library page here 👉 https://www.banfflibrary.ab.ca/About-Us2/support-the-library/friends-of-the-library

📣TRACpac services are back online!📣

You may have already noticed, but TRACpac+ and the TRACpac app are back up and running again. Thank you everyone for your patience with the upgrade!

As the system gets back to normal, there may still be some hiccups; please be aware you may run into some issues.

Some things to keep in mind:
📕 You will need to sign back into your TRACpac app using your credentials (library card barcode number and password) before placing holds and/or viewing your account in the app again.
📗 The system is still updating all of the items that were checked out before or during the outage, and items that were returned shortly before or during the outage. As such, you may have items on your account that were already returned, or items that were checked out that aren't on your account yet. This should resolve soon, but please be patient as the backlog is worked through.
📘 You may receive notifications for holds or overdues that you have already taken out or returned. This is due to the system catching up, and can likely be disregarded, provided the items have been returned. If you are returning an item that was on hold and checked out during the outage, feel free to let us know so we can direct the item on to the next patron.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks again, and happy reading 📖
