Where there is a need there is a Lion.
The ramp at Hospice in Bancroft had rotten out and been unusable for a while. A small group from the Bancroft Lions Club decided this needed to be fixed. So with the expenses covered 50/50 by BMR lumber and the Bancroft Lions. Lions Mikki, Nipper, Steve and Bryan spent two days ripping out the rotton part of the ramp and rebuilding it. Now Hospice is once again accessible to all.

The sun is out. The sky is blue. You could ask for a better day to come and look at books. And don't forget Kids under 12 get a free book today in honor of Dolly Partons. We are here till 1pm. In Riverside Park Bancroft

Our next book sale is this Saturday September 12th 9am to 1pm Riverside Park Bancroft.
We have 2 specials going on this week. To honor Dolly Parton we are giving away 1 free book to every child under 12. To help grow there love for reading.
We also have a specal for the Adults all hard covered books will be $1 this week. Below are pictures of just a small sample of the hard covered books we have. So many more inside the house.

The rain has stopped we are almost set. The stage is ready for the band. All we need is you. So come on down to Millennium Park for the last concert of 2026.

Hard to believe that this Wednesday is the last Mineral Capital Concert for 2026. We end the season with a local group. Near the Open. As always Concert start at 7pm. Come early bring your chair. The Lions BBQ should be up and running around 6pm. Millennium Park Bancroft.

This week RipChord is back. With a wide variety of classics rock. Music starts at 7pm. Come early, Bring your chair. Find your favorite spot grab a burger 🍔 or sausage 😋 from the Bancroft Lions Club BBQ sit back, relax and enjoy the music 🎶.

It's a beautiful day so come on down to riverside park Bancroft. You can viste us at Santa's House for our booksale and loonie toonie sale then wonder over to the farms market happy Reading

This Saturday we are holding side by side sales. Our Santa House book sale will be set up as usual. Right next to it will be a Loonie Toonie sale. Come and see what you can buy for a buck or two. 9am to 1pm Riverside Park Bancroft.

It's a beautiful night in the park with great music and good food. The 50/50 is for the refill station and will be drawn around 8pm. So come on down and get you ticket before its too late.

This Wednesday night its the sounds of Gord Kidd & Friends that will be filling the air waves in Millennium Park Bancroft music starts around 7pm. The Lions will have the BBQ up and running around 6pm.
