Numerous improvements to trails since 2015, begun by Stewards of Eagles Nest Park and recently by wonderful additions thanks to Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini. Many changes along the trails but the view is timeless and has amazed so many visitors.

A virtual walk along the purple trail from the lower parking lot to the Hawkwatch platform on the holiday Monday. Leaves are emerging fast on the trees!

Two trail walks to take now that Bancroft Eagles Nest Park is open!
From the upper parking lot, you will find the wide accessible path to the lookout freshly groomed & smoothed - ready for all levels of mobility to enjoy. Stroll or roll!
If you are comfortable on a well-maintained but rougher bush trail, try following the purple route from the lower parking lot to the lookout. (Sturdy footwear is best on this path).

Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini is such an important part of Bancroft Eagles Nest Park as they carry on being caring stewards of the land, as begun thousands of years ago by their ancestors, our original inhabitants of the this place we all can enjoy now as a protected park.

Stay tuned. Clean up from winter is underway. Lots of branches down this year from wind, ice and heavy snow. Town of Bancroft workers are no doubt hard at getting everything in shape for your visits.

If you missed your chance for a last visit in 2025, here is that magical view, late in the afternoon on Sunday Oct. 19.
The park gate will reopen in Spring 2026 for you to drive up for that special top of the world feeling😍
