𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗲

The County of Elgin is delighted to announce that the Terrace Lodge Fundraising Campaign has received a generous $50,000 donation from the estate of Giles Hume. This significant contribution will help us acquire essential items to enhance the comfort of our Terrace Lodge residents.

With this donation, the Comforts of Home campaign is now able to start winding down. We will be announcing the final results very soon, along with our plans for a celebration with all of you, our valued donors.

The Bowling Tournament and Fundraiser in support of the Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home campaign was a smash success, raising $14,000! This morning, members of the Terrace Lodge Redevelopment Fundraising Committee received a generous $5,000 donation from John Wilson of J.B. Wilson & Son Well Drilling Ltd. This incredible contribution brings the Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home campaign even closer to its ambitious $500,000 goal—now with less than $50,000 left to raise!

We're thrilled to announce that Dominque Giguère, a member of the Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home committee, received a generous $5,000 donation from Dr. Dennis Boadway, a board member of the Aylmer Area Community Foundation. This contribution is a significant boost to our ongoing Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home Fundraising Campaign.

Our campaign's mission is to cultivate a warm and welcoming environment at Terrace Lodge, where residents can truly feel at home. With this grant, we're excited to enhance our facilities by outfitting a kitchen where residents can cook, bake, and create cherished memories.

The Kinsmen Club of Aylmer are pleased to announce that their club will be holding a gala on Saturday, February 17, in support of the Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home program. This initiative is intended to keep our seniors comfortable, engaged and entertained, through the purchase of items such as Netflix memberships, gaming tables, fitness equipment, music therapy instruments and more.

Etienne & Heather Borm donated $50,000 on behalf of their business, ETBO Tool & Die, towards the Terrace Lodge Comforts of Home Fundraising Campaign.

Their donation furnished the family dining room, a guest suite and four lounge areas within the newly renovated areas of Terrace Lodge, one of Elgin County's three Long-Term Care Homes.
