Town of Assiniboia Assiniboia is located in the heart of southern Saskatchewan, located 100 km south of Moose Jaw. This is the official page of the Town of Assiniboia.

The Assiniboia Housing Authority is seeking a MANAGER.

This is a contract position responsible for the daily operations of the housing authority and the successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors.

Manager responsibilities include building relationships, understanding and implementing plans & policies, application processing, rent calculation & collection, budgeting, financial analysis, project management and general administration.
The Assiniboia Housing Authority oversees a combination of 75 Senior & Family Housing units.

Preferred qualities for this position would be:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills
• Customer service mindset and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Organizational, time management and self-motivation skills
• Ability to supervise and direct contracted personnel
• Use of personal computer and the ability to utilize office technology
• Experience and/or ability in financial analysis and budgeting
• Property management experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating costs, computer and use of own vehicle. Contract remuneration is set by Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.

The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector check prior to the offer of and appointment to a position.

What a super fun and beautiful day for our Centre Street Banner Project Walking Tour yesterday!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the walk, and to the Shurniak Art Gallery - SAG, the Assiniboia & District Arts Council, the SK Arts Community Micro grant program, Able II Print — your enhancement of the art into banner form is amazing — and our wonderful Volunteer Friends of the Gallery for the refreshments.

And an extra big shout out to all the ARTISTS - Beth Stobbs, Alison Lewis, Yvette Wojcik, Kim Valerio, Tracey Britton, Sandra Lamontagne, Rita St. Amant, Dave Munro, Debbie Scheltgen, Gail Prpick, Erin Gunther, Teri Hanstock, Janet Goruick, Leila Elder, Crystal Thorburn, and Lorraine J.
