Bring your little ones (ages 6 & under) for a splashing good time for our Assiniboia Early Childhood Coalition fundraiser at the Assiniboia Aquatic Centre!👶 Ages 2 & under: FREE👧 Ages 3+: $5 entry — includes a hot dog, snow cone, and a guaranteed good time! Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun too. Come support early childhood programming in our community while making some sunny memories!

Friends of St. Victor Petroglyphs are hosting their annual Butterfly Release Saturday June 27th ,2026 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Interpretative Centre in St. Victor. Release of 36 Painted Butterflies , Come watch and you might have a butterfly land on your hand.

What a fantastic day hosting our municipal neighbours for the SUMA Southwest Regional Meeting! It was a pleasure to share our Centre Street Infrastructure Project — a transformation we’re incredibly proud of — and to showcase one of our community gems, the Shurniak Art Gallery - SAG.

Grateful to everyone who joined us, including representatives from the Ministry of Community Safety for an important discussion on the Safer Communities and Neighbours Act.

And a big thank‑you to SaskWater for sponsoring the 2026 Regional Roadshow!

We had a late Events Calendar Addition!

The Western Communities Foundation at Western Financial Group is having a Hot Dog sale on Thursday May 28, 2026 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at 103 4th Ave West, across from the Post Office. See you there!

All supplies donated by the Southland Co-op Ltd. and all proceeds to be donated to Camp Woodboia Inc.

Another great day at the Assiniboia Assiniboia and District Historical Museum!

We spent a couple hours organizing the Tourism brochures and giving the coffee room a good tidy — it’s amazing how a little refresh makes the whole place feel even more welcoming.

And good news for treasure hunters… new items have been added to the Garage Sale fundraiser tables! Vintage finds, quirky gems, practical pieces — there’s always something fun to discover, and all reasonable offers are accepted to support the Museum.

If you’re out and about, pop in Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM (closed for lunch) and check out the latest additions. Every purchase helps keep our local history thriving.

Let’s show the Museum some love and help make this fundraiser a success. ❤️
