Notice Canada Post Strike:
With Canada Post striking receipts will be unable to be mailed out as per usual. If you mailed, dropped in the deposit slot or made an online payment the receipts will be mailed when the strike ends. If you however want the receipt emailed please call or email the office requesting so. You also can pick up your receipt in office as well.

We were excited to learn this summer that our Centre was selected as a recipient of the RM Lake of the Rivers No. 72’s Golden South Wind Community Benefit Fund! This grant will help us add outdoor storage and a gazebo space to our yard, improvements that will benefit children and families for years to come. A big thank you to the RM for their continued support!

Road Closure Notice:
The RM has closed two sections of the 717 grid today for resurfacing:
1. From Range Road 2301-2302 (north east of Assiniboia)
2. From Range Road 2285- 2293 (Lake Bottom) will be closed at 1:00 p.m.
Please watch for signs, barricades and detour signs. Both sections of roads are projected to be reopened Friday, September 19. 2025 in the evening.

Thank you Southland Co-op Ltd. for choosing the Assiniboia Municipal Airport Authority to be the recipients of the Assiniboia Fuel Good Day 2025!

The Authority is a collaboration of the Town of Assiniboia, Rural Municipality of Lake of The Rivers No. 72 and Rural Municipality of Stonehenge No. 73 (RM Stonehenge #73 and Limerick). We are working together to improve the Assiniboia Airport, located in RM # 72, to better serve Assiniboia & the surrounding area.

On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, fuel up at the Southland Co-op Gas Bar in Assiniboia and 10¢ per litre sold goes to support our organization!

Proceeds will be used towards the resurfacing of the taxiway from the runway to the gate, including a loading area for medivac patients. Our focus is to have full working lights, runway & taxiway for the Saskatchewan Air Ambulance. The Sask. Air ambulance provides 24 hr. critical care air transport for our rural communities. Able to travel further & faster, primary service for stroke patients, pediatric & neonatal transport teams.

Stop in to fill up, eat up with our BBQ from 11:00 - 1:00 pm ($5 a meal) and drink up at the C-Store. A donation of $1 for every Co-operative coffee & Big cool drink will be made too!
