Wildfire Risk is currently between Very High-Extreme today with crossover of temperature higher then relative humidity, fire risk is greatly increased when this happens. Please use extreme caution today winds will be high, this also makes fire crews jobs even more difficult!

The County of St. Paul has upgraded to a Fire Restriction:

Due to the current conditions and forecasted high temperatures along with higher winds, a Fire Restriction is now in place for the County of St. Paul effective 1:00 PM Friday May 30, 2025. This means no open burning of grass, leaves or branches in yards and lake lots, and this includes burn barrels.

Conditions will continue to be monitored and we thank you all for your cooperation.

Level 3 FIRE RESTRICTION:

-No open-air fires, including burn barrels.
-Fire permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new permits will be issued.
-Small safe wood campfires for cooking and warming are allowed on private lands and in campgrounds.
