Thanks to Don from ABC Fire and Safety for coming out to demo the new line of Hurst extrication tools on August 11/26. It was a great evening of learning some new techniques and seeing what the tools are capable of doing

Today the town of Ashern was half under water. Thanks to the firefighters, rm staff and many volunteers we were able to redirect and pump a lot of water down. The town is still on high alert as there is still a lot of water moving toward it. Stay safe out there and remember to make way for emergency responders

Ashern Fire Department hosted a fire department safety officer course this past weekend , we had 5 members (Dads) take the time to attend to this course on Father’s Day weekend along with 4 members from surrounding communities. Thank you again for taking the time to attend Also a big shout out to Cam Abrey, fire chief in Dauphin for taking the time to pass on your knowledge

Due to the heavy rains in the last few days we were called upon to make sand bags for our community. Thanks to these firefighters for stepping up again and helping out
