Wednesday evening is the inaugural Adult Project Circle.

If you are working on a portable craft or project, you are encouraged to bring it down to the library and enjoy some company while you create.

No project? No problem! I will have a few things that you can choose from along with some light refreshments and snacks.

I want to take a moment today and recognize the volunteers that help keep our library running.

We have an amazing group of local ladies who sit on the Board of Directors. They spend hours every month planning, organizing, researching, fundraising—you name it—to make sure we have strong and accessible (free) programming for our community.

Our program last night (Budget Kitchen) was hosted by the fabulous Michele Amy. She put together a fantastic night where we all walked away with full bellies, a lot of ideas, and an appreciation for a strong electrical grid. It was all volunteer-run, but so very appreciated. Thank you!

We had a visitor from the Carlyle & District Food Bank. Theresa has an impressive volunteer team which supplied us with the pulse crops needed to run the program (via South East Research Farm). Having her come out and support our event was so kind. The whole evening was a wonderful display of community, generosity, and volunteerism.

And to everyone else who also took the time to spend with us:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
