Please note that the Municipal Office at the Anmore Community Hub will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, for Labour Day.

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Development Cost Charges are fees collected from new development to help fund eligible infrastructure needed to support growth, including eligible municipal infrastructure such as roads, water, drainage, and parks.

πŸ”₯ UPDATE: Low Fire Danger Rating & Fire Ban Lifted

Please note that the Sasamat Fire Department has advised that the fire danger rating has moved to LOW. Effective immediately, all previous conditions related to the Fire Danger Rating have been rescinded, including the campfire ban.

Campfires are now allowed within the Village of Anmore provided you have a valid permit and the fire is no bigger than 0.5 m Γ— 0.5 m. Please remember when enjoying a campfire, smoke must vent vertically and only clean, dry firewood should be used. The burning of yard debris and construction debris is never permitted.

🚧 Construction continues on the Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park Expansion and Ravenswood Drive Road Realignment as work progresses on roadway and park improvements.

Beginning in mid-September, residents can expect temporary traffic changes, including a partial closure of Ravenswood Drive, to accommodate construction.

βœ… The park will remain open during this phase of construction.
πŸš— Vehicle access to nearby properties will be maintained via Hemlock Drive for entry and exit.

The Chief Election Officer is now accepting nominations for the offices of Mayor, Councillor, and School Trustee (Anmore/Belcarra) until 4 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Residents may notice atmospheric smoke effects off the shore of Admiralty Point on Thursday, September 3, between 8 a.m. and approximately 12 p.m. as part of a planned filming activity.

🚀 The filming will take place outside the Village of Anmore. The atmospheric smoke effects will be generated from two boats on the water and may be visible from shore.

ℹ️ This notice is being shared for awareness to help avoid any unnecessary concern if smoke is observed in the area.

On September 1, water restrictions will move from Stage 2 to Stage 1 in Metro Vancouver, allowing lawn watering one morning per week for all residential and non-residential properties.

If you missed the property tax deadline, we encourage you to pay your outstanding taxes as soon as possible to avoid an additional penalty.

A 5% penalty was applied on July 3, and a further 5% penalty will be applied to any outstanding current taxes on October 1, 2026.

Properties with delinquent taxes are subject to the annual tax sale process, scheduled for September 28, 2026.

If you have outstanding taxes or questions about your account, please contact the Village or submit your payment as soon as possible.
