🔥 Big Thank You to Our North Shuswap Communities! 🚒
We want to extend a massive shout-out to the residents of Magna Bay, Lucern Beach, Anglemont, and St Ives for allowing us to use your properties for our Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) training exercise last night!
Here’s a look at what we achieved together:
👥 48 Members attended from 3 local fire departments.
🏡 We utilized 45-50 properties out of 74 available, setting up complex hose lays.
💧 Practiced multiple "wet lines" (actual water deployment).
🚑 Conducted 3 simulated medical emergencies to test our rescue skills.
Because of your support, every member received invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge, significantly enhancing our ability to defend our communities in the North Shuswap if a real crisis strikes.
Thank you for helping us help you!
