Ajax Public Library A welcoming and exceptional Library empowering success within our diverse community. Comments on public posts can be turned off by the Library.

Ajax Public Library designs experiences and connections where community, discover, and innovation intersect. To help create a welcoming online space, the following guidelines are used for moderating posts and comments on the Library's social media accounts. The Library's social media policy prohibits comments and posts that include:
- Irrelevant content.
- Violations of violence and harassment r

ules.
- Offensive language, obscene or sexual content.
- Discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, etc.
- Promotion of unauthorized commercial services or products.
- Promotion of political parties or candidates.
- Promotion of illegal activity.
- Information compromising public safety or security.
- Confidential customer or staff information. Content violating this policy or the law may be deleted or hidden without notice, and access may be restricted as needed. The Library updates and monitors its social media during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Responses to inquiries on social media will be timely, but immediate services cannot be guaranteed. The Library does not endorse or review products or services on social media.
