The City of Airdrie is conducting a facility needs assessment for the Nose Creek Valley museum and we want to hear from you.

Share your thoughts on the museum’s spaces, amenities and future facility needs to help inform long-term planning and investment decisions.

💡Quick fact: the Nose Creek Valley Museum is operated by the not-for-profit Nose Creek Valley Society. While the City owns the facility and provides property maintenance, the Society independently operates the museum and its programs and services.

Input from the Society, museum users, residents and other interest holders will help shape recommendations for the future of the facility.

❌ This study will not direct changes to museum programming, exhibits or services, make decisions about museum governance or operations or determine whether a future renovation or replacement project will proceed.

✅ It will help the City better understand how the museum facility can support the needs of the Society, residents and visitors now and into the future.

Take the survey before Sept. 23 at airdrie.ca/museumneeds.

Hi Airdrie! Meet Officer Brian Meanley, he’s a pretty nice guy! With our community back to class this week, and some little ones heading to school for the first time ever - you’ll see Officer Meanley out and about helping keep our school areas safe.

And, he needs your help to help make back to school a good experience for all. On top of following each school's drop-off and pick-up practices, here are some good reminders to help us all keep our community safe:

🚗School and playground zones are 30 km/h, so please take it slow and stay alert.
🚶‍➡️Watch and stop for pedestrians walking and waiting at crosswalks.
🅿️Don't park too close to any crosswalk as pedestrians need a clear view to cross safely.
🚌Always stop for buses and don't pass a stopped school bus when the lights are flashing.
