Abbotsford Greens Local grassroots organization to promote and endorse Green political candidates and issues in Abbotsford, BC.

The Abbotsford Greens were a new civic organization created to make a positive impact in the 2014 municipal election. Our objective is simple: gather like-minded citizens of Abbotsford who share in a vision for the common good that brings truly sustainable approaches to the city’s economic development, planning, transportation and quality of life. The Abbotsford Greens endorsed eligible candidates

for City Council that subscribed to the core principals of the Global Greens Charter:
-Sustainability
-Social Justice
-Ecological Wisdom
-Participatory Democracy
-Respect for Diversity
-Nonviolence

We will continue to promote these core values into the next federal and provincial elections as we campaign with the Green Party of Canada and BC Green Party, respectively.
