Tonota College of Education celebrates the dawn of modern millennium with some additional physical landmarks on its terrain. Prominent among these is the Library complex which was occupied in September 99'. The red brick walls inter space with beautiful glazes at the corners projecting it into a different dimension in the arena of College Library Architecture in Botswana. Aside from the architect
ural opulence, the Library is also functional and user friendly. It covers a total floor area of 1.430 m2 of which fifty percent has been allocated for sitting. This enables it to accommodate 260 users at any one time in a mixed sitting arrangement which includes tables, carrels and lounge type. The stack area is capable of holding over 100, 000 vol of books. The floor is soft carpeted and the whole building is well light through a combination of artificial and natural light. The latter is achieved through an ingenious use of architecture. The Library currently provides the following range of services:

Present your ID and library cards.Staff members are eligible to borrow 4 items at a time for a period of 30 days.Students are eligible to borrow 2 items for a period of 14 days.
