Participants from Maun, Shorobe, Mababe, Sankoyo, Khwai, Sehithwa, Tsau, and Makalamabedi are being equipped with knowledge and practical skills to strengthen the early detection, reporting, and response to public health events affecting people, animals, and the environment.

By strengthening community-based surveillance using the One Health approach, this initiative is enhancing local capacity for early warning, timely reporting, and coordinated response to public health risks, contributing to safer, healthier and more resilient communities across the North West District.
