Thuto SACCOS successfully held its 10th Annual General Meeting, with the Arena filled to capacity by passionate and dedicated members representing not only themselves but also fellow members who were unable to attend.
During the meeting, the Board, Supervisory Committee, and Management presented comprehensive reports on the Society's performance, achievements, and future plans. Members actively participated in discussions and decision-making processes, demonstrating their commitment to the growth, sustainability, and good governance of the Society.
A significant milestone was achieved during this AGM, as Thuto SACCOS became the first cooperative society to successfully implement an electronic voting (e-voting) system. This innovation enhanced transparency, efficiency, and member participation, marking an important step in the Society's digital transformation journey.
The AGM also saw changes within the Management Committee. Members elected and entrusted new leaders to guide the Society forward. This transition forms part of the Society's governance processes and is intended to ensure continued effective leadership, oversight, and the achievement of Thuto SACCOS' strategic objectives.
