The Gambling Authority had the pleasure of welcoming NBFIRA for a collaborative benchmarking session. The financial regulator sought to gain insight into the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

During the visit, the Authority shared its insights and practical approaches to quality management, covering areas such as process documentation, internal audits, corrective actions, management reviews, and continual improvement.

The engagement created an opportunity for both teams to learn from each other, exchange insights, and collaborate on approaches to strengthening quality service delivery.

As a regulator, the Authority is dedicated to being a catalyst for excellence in service delivery and is proud to walk this journey alongside NBFIRA.

The Gambling Authority was delighted to be part of the Walala Wasala Charity Cup, organised by Bet 267, where we joined the community in celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and giving back.

During the event, we had the opportunity to engage with attendees and share important messages on responsible gambling, encouraging the public to make informed choices and promote healthy gambling habits.

We were honoured by the presence of the Assistant Minister of Health, Hon. Lawrence Ookeditse, whose attendance added great value to the event and highlighted the importance of community partnerships in promoting well-being.

The Gambling Authority is proud to have participate in the prestigious Jwaneng Bush Walk, an event graced by President, Advocate Duma Boko alongside other distinguished dignitaries and community leaders. Joining these esteemed guests was the Authority CEO Mr. Moruntshi Kemorwale.

Being part of this remarkable gathering provided the Authority with a wonderful platform to engage directly with the public. It allowed for sharing of vital information and actively promote our responsible gambling awareness initiatives across the community.
